Home Study Program for HSE/TASC (In-Person)

Learn about a free, at-home study program (e.g., BOCES GRASP) for adults 21 and over, who would like to prepare for the GED/TASC exam, but are unable to attend classes on a regular basis. Also, if you attended high school in New York State and passed at least one Regents exam you may be eligible to fast track on the exam. Certified instructors will provide you with individual assignments to complete at home. Pick up your assignments at our Station Branch. Open to all. Assistance by telephone is also available. Job Fair January 19, 2022

 The Long Island State Veterans Home at Stony Brook University will be holding a Job Fair on Tuesday, January 19th from 11- 1 pm & 5 -6 pm. They will be hiring RNs,  LPNs CNAs, Cleaners & Food Service Workers. There will be on-site interviews. Walk-ins are welcome. Please have your resume ready. HPL Virtual Career Counseling January/February 2022

The Huntington Public Library will be offering Virtual Career Counseling with our certified Career Counselor. The Career Counselor will help you with your job search, interviewing skills & questions regarding your resume. One on one appointments will be conducted virtually using Zoom.
