Monday, March 19th 6:30-8:00 PM
Main Meeting Room
Registration Required; Open to ALL
Operating a business from home offers women great flexibility to raise a family and add to the family coffers without the stress of an employed position marked by specific work hours and the demands of a boss whose objectives often run counter to those of women with children. Business consultant Constance Hallinan Lagan will help women discover their passion and turn that passion into a profitable business. Topics covered include the “red tape” steps of starting a legitimate enterprise (registering the business, collecting sales tax, opening a business checking account, securing financing, purchasing insurance, and hiring employees versus independent contractor).
