Wondering how to write an impressive cover letter?  A Long Island Cares Career Development Program representative will be onsite to discuss assist individuals with a resume format, style and content which best reflects your strengths and talents. This program will also include cover letters techniques that emphasize your fit for the job. Join representatives in exploring these questions and providing you with valuable information for your overall job search.

Learn effective tools in preparation for the interview process, the appropriate communication skills, behavior, and dress code for an interview, as well as, what to do after an interview. Long Island Career Fair September 18th

Are you looking for a job? Are you tired of sending resumes left and right and never getting an answer? If you are, dress in your best professional clothes, bring resumes and visit our Long Island Career Fair on Wednesday, September 18th from 11-2 pm at the Holiday Inn Plainview-Long Island. You will have the opportunity to meet top employers and to interview for several positions during the course of the day, meeting the people who make the hiring decisions. You will save a lot of time since there will be no need to craft a customized personal statement for each company you visit. You’ll be able to tell them why you wish to work for them, and you’ll have the chance to sell yourself. Admission is FREE. Complimentary on -site parking
